According to information from the Egyptian security department, the target of this attack was Mustafa Nimr, the head of the Alexandria security department. It is understood that the improvised bomb that exploded was placed in a car when Mustafa Nimir passed by. , the bomb exploded, killing one policeman and injuring four others, but Mustafa Nimir himself was unharmed.
