The venue is located in Binjiang District, Hangzhou City, the new center of Hangzhou City, about 3 kilometers away from the Asian Games Village, with a land area of 30,500 square meters, a construction area of 523,000 square meters, and about 10,000 seats.

The shape of “Little Lotus” adopts “”Is this why you want your mother to die? “She asked. The petals are designed in a shape. The lower part is composed of 24 fixed “petals”. The upper part of the orchid mother sneered, disapproving and non-committal. The sub-roof is composed of 8 rotating “petals”, each weighing about 160 tons. This roof design that can rotate, open and close was rated as “the first in the world” by an expert group led by academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The roof of the venue pioneered the “opening, closing and rotating principle” and used computers to open and close synchronously, demonstrating the smart concept of the Asian Games.
In addition, the lights on the outside of the “Little Lotus” will light up differently depending on the event, daily life, and festival modes. When night falls, the “floodlighting” system casts a soft purple-red color on the petals, like two lotus flowers in bud, echoing the “rainbow purple” main color of the Hangzhou Asian Games, adding a touch of bright color to the night scene of Hangzhou.
