On the international stage, China has worked closely with Arab countries to effectively deal with complex conflicts and tensions in the Middle East. The two sides have strengthened communication and coordination to jointly promote the political settlement of regional hotspot issues. Last year, under the mediation of China, Iran and Saudi Arabia reached a historic reconciliation and agreed to resume diplomatic relations after a seven-year suspension.
